 TE Reverse CD

Software
TE Reverse Phonebook CD Released
1830 Hrs 16 April 1999

Telecom Eireann may have competition in a market that it believed was a monopoly. A Reverse Phonenumber directory CD for Ireland has been released. The speed of operation of the CD is said to be magnitudes faster than that of Telecom Eireann's ordinary phone directory CD.

The original Telecom Eireann Phonenumber CD had apparently been compiled using a Paradox database and may have used some rudimentary encryption to protect the data. However it seems that the encryption employed was so rudimentary that it did not stand a chance against professionals. Crackers for Paradox are widely available on the internet.
